The tutor that never gives the answer

Kalan walks your child through one question at a time, until they get there themselves. Ivorian, French and English curricula. Works on the family phone.

What actually changes

It asks, it does not correct

Faced with a mistake, Kalan never says “that’s wrong”. It asks the child to revisit the step where things slipped. That is where learning happens.

Help rises one rung, never two

Each block unlocks a slightly sharper hint. On the last rung, Kalan works through a **similar** exercise — never the child’s own.

You see what is stuck, not marks

The parent dashboard shows what is mastered, what resists, and one concrete piece of advice. No averages, no rankings.

A real session

From a real session. The rest belongs to the child: they write the result, never the tutor.

i’m stuck on 1/2 + 1/3

Why do you think these two fractions don’t add up as easily as 1/5 + 2/5?

because the bottoms are different

Exactly. So what would be the first thing to do so the bottoms match?

i don’t know

Look for a number that 2 divides into exactly, and that 3 divides into exactly. Try naming one.
